2022 CHALLENGE

ROC/RECHARGE
Students worked to help CP Rochester with strategies to attract more highly qualified applicants to our vacant positions in Children’s and Residential Programs and to retain our current front line employees at a higher retention rate.
FACILITATORS

Chris Flemming (he/him)
Chris Flemming is an RIT Industrial Design alum from the class of 2019. After working in retail design post grad, Chris now runs the merchandise division of a cybersecurity focused design agency called “Miscreants.” Chris is the creator and host of the “Maker’s Pace” podcast which highlights artists and creators of all crafts.

Isabella Madeira (she/her)
Isabella is a fresh 2022 graduate from RIT’s graphic design program. She was a EUREKA! participant in 2019 and 2021, and was even on the winning team her first year! Some of this year’s participants may know Isabella as last year’s president of Graphic Design Club and as editor of Signatures Art & Literary Magazine.
Post-graduation, she is taking some time to work as a freelance graphic designer and clerk for her local library while continuing her volunteer role as a graphic designer for RootaBeta, the independent video game development team behind the game UpRooted.
EUREKA! TEAM

Misha Szende (they/them)
Misha is a senior in the RIT Graphic design program. While enjoying the vast majority of design, their interest is in print media, typography, and design systems. Misha is a part of the Command+G team and has enjoyed developing brand identities, logos, and posters for clients. In preparation for this year’s event, they developed the new banner and motion piece.

Allie Cervantes (she/her)
Allie Cervantes is a senior in the Graphic Design program at RIT and is minoring in Museum Studies and Advertising and Public Relations. Her focus is primarily on exhibition design but is incredibly fond of branding and experiential design. She is a part of Command+G Design Lab and works part-time at the Strong Museum of Play.

Serina Lin (she/her)
Serina is a senior in the RIT Graphic Design program and pursuing minors in Environmental Studies and Advertising & Public Relations. She is interested in design for social and environmental good, branding, UI/UX, and packaging. On campus, she is the Marketing Coordinator for the College Activities Board, Marketing Designer for RIT College of Science, and Designer for Command+G.
